Ever heard of David Lebovitz? Well, he’s this American chef who lives inParis and does culinary tours through France. He is also an authorwith multiple recipe books published. My Favourite book of his is THE SWEET LIFE IN PARIS. In his very quirky (kind of dry sense of humour) he shares his story of packing up in America and jetting off to Paris to live the pastry eating, macaron baking life he always dreamed about. However, it took quite a bit of adjustment and charm to get to the part where life in Paris is actually sweet.
I am subscribed to his newsletter and it’s always so interesting and often quite funny, reading about his daily endeavours. I have prepared many of his recipes and I have never been disappointed. I must admit that one of my favourite David Lebovitzrecipes is his chocolate cookie with fleur de sel. It’s an incredibly chocolaty chocolate cookie, sprinkled with sea salt flakes before baking. It’s to die for!
