One of my favourite new things to do is buying ready made dough from the supermarket. It’s so incredibly convenient and the fun part comes into play when incorporating other ingredients to make that piece of dough the best it can be.
These totally diet-wrecking, full-on carbohydrate rolls are one of my little “play arounds” I baked the other day. Loads of chocolate with pecan nuts and a generous sprinkling of cinnamon. Once the unbaked rolls are in the oven dish, a generous amount of fresh cream is poured over them and then it goes into the oven. The result are rich, soft rolls with a creamy sauce to accompany. Cinnamon gives it a little bit of a spicy Easter twist, so I’m planning on making these again over Easter weekend, that’s for sure!
