A long time ago I bought the recipe book Baked: New frontiers in baking, of the Baked bakery in Brooklyn, New York. These guys are very talented and their baked goods are a feast for the eye! Their recipes are easy to follow and the inspiration one get from paging through their stuff is phenomenal!
They have a red velvet cake recipe, which I haven’t tried yet, but the cinnamon frosting they use with the cake is out of this world! It takes a little time to prepare, but it is amazing. I often make it with my red velvet cake, but I’ve also used it on hummingbird cake and carrot cake. This is definitely a recipe to be added to the collection of must-have recipes!
