Rice can easily be cooked in any microwave and the result is fluffy, loose and delicious rice.
To cook rice for 4 people, place 375 ml raw rice in a microwave bowl and fill the bowl up with cold water. Massage the rice to release some of the starch. Then pour the water off. Add enough water so that the water level is 2 cm above the rice level in the dish. Add a pinch of salt then microwave on high for 9 minutes, uncovered. Allow to stand for 3 minutes, covered, then fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
