These bacon twists are easy to prepare and are always a hit. Serve them as pre-dinner snacks or as part of a breakfast or brunch.
Preheat the oven to 200C and line a baking sheet with greaseproof paper. Take 250 g streaky bacon and place it on the baking sheet. Combine a little olive oil, grainy mustard, dried chilli and pepper in a bowl then brush thebacon with this mixture.
Twist both ends to shape it into a twist. Place the baking sheet in the hot oven and bake the bacon until crispy – about 20 minutes.
