This easy butterscotch sauce can be prepared in no time and keeps really well. Make a large batch and store it in the fridge to use with desserts, ice cream or simply eat with a spoon.
Combine about 100 g brown sugar, 125 ml fresh cream and 75 g butter in a medium saucepan.
Melt the ingredients over a medium heat and allow to boil for about 3 minutes. Keep the sauce warm for serving or store it in the fridge until needed, then simply warm it up gently in the microwave.
