This is an easy recipe to prepare cranberry compote that can either be enjoyed with poultry dishes, cheese or cold meat.
Take 125 ml dried cranberries and place it in a saucepan with the juice of one orange and the zest of half an orange. Add about 500 ml water and bring to a boil. Allow the cranberries to cook until soft then add 150 ml sugar. Stir until dissolved then bring back to a boil. Let the compote cook until it thickens slightly.
It can be kept in a jar in the fridge for about a month.
