This grape confit is delicious served with cheese and fresh, crusty bread. It’s also excellent with smoked meat like turkey or gammon.
Place 125 ml white sugar, 50 ml red wine, 30 ml red wine vinegar and 125 ml water in a medium saucepan. Bring the mixture to a simmer and add 250 g red grapes. Allow the grapes to cook for about 15 minutes until the mixture goes syrupy. Allow the grapes to cool and then keep it in a jar in the fridge.
