How to mix muesli at home
Mixing your own muesli at home is really easy and what is nice about mixing your own, is that you can flavour it the way you prefer.
Mix 500g, of granola with 2 cups dried cranberries, 1 cup pumpkin seeds and 1 cup toasted coconut shavings. Keep the muesli in an airtight container for up to a month. I suggest you mix less at a time and rather mix more often – doing it like this will ensure that you don’t sit with stale muesli.
Change the ingredients to suit your preference. Instead of dried cranberries, use dried blueberries, dates, apricots or pineapple. The variety of dried fruit is so vast, make up your own combinations. Add sunflower seeds, toasted sesame seed or even linseed. Whole or chopped nuts are also great to add.
