This Christmas and holiday season, it’s always a good idea to have a little something hidden away to whip out for melba toast or crackers and cheese. This honey and tahini spread is a fabulous little trick to keep for those unexpected moments you need something tasty and a little exotic.
Take 150 ml honey and beat in 15 ml tahini and 10 ml molasses with a whisk. The honey and tahini combines to make an interesting tasting spread – slightly wild with a creamy nuttiness. Keep the spread in a screw cap jar and use with raw vegetables, crackers, cheese or even on a slice of crispy toast.
