North African flavours are so satisfying to the palate that it’s often my first choice of seasoning when I start cooking. It’s lovely with all meat dishes, in salads and salad dressings. I love using Moroccan flavours in breads and other starch dishes. It’s even great with vegetables!
I seasoned chicken breasts with Moroccan spice and olive oil. It can sit in the flavoured oil for a few minutes to marinade, but it’s not essential. Cream cheese or goats cheese pairs well with the cooked chicken and I added a few chopped dates. If you don’t have dates, fresh or dried mango is just as nice!
To jazz the burgers up, grilled carrot strips with brown sugar glaze can be added or even a medley of grilled vegetables.
