Once again it’s the simple ingredients that prove to be brilliant in the kitchen. I made lovely, spicy nutmeg slices that have the most delectable taste and texture. They are also incredibly simple to prepare and can last for quite a while in an airtight container. They are perfect for any tea time occasion and would probably be quite nice with a simple cream cheese and icing sugar drizzle. I left them fairly plain with only a dusting of icing sugar, but they still didn’t last long. Truly delicious!
