Either you’ll love this or you’ll hate it. It is somewhat of a speciality type of dish and won’t fall in everyone’s preference. I’ll be honest, I have made it a million times, tried it once and can’t appreciate it for what it is. I’m not a big fan of underdone meat – something about the texture of it just isn’t very appealing to me. So this raw meat dish is obviously not my thing. It is often served with a raw egg yolk too. Sometimes quail eggs are used. I don’t know, but to me there’s just too little cooking going on in this dish.
