I made a batch of honeycomb, using honey instead of syrup. I must admit, even though I am a huge fan of honey, it didn’t taste as great as it does with syrup. It wasn’t terrible, but I think I just prefer syrup.
Honeycomb is a lovely sweet snack that can be prepared in no time. I love using it as part of desserts, on ice cream or on cup cakes. It adds lovely flavour, texture and to your guests it looks like you went through so much trouble, when actually it wasn’t any at all!
