To make your own spicy nuts at home, combine two cups assorted nuts of your choice with 2,5 ml cumin, 5 ml paprika and a pinch or two cayenne pepper. This would depend on how hot you prefer it. Heat 10 ml olive oil in a large pan and quickly toast the nuts and spices until fragrant. Stir continuously to prevent the spices from burning.
Allow the nuts to cool slightly before serving or keep them in an airtight container for about two weeks.
