How to make Sugar Glitter
Mix 60 ml white sugar with5 – 10 ml food colouring of choice. Then spread it out onto a greaseproof lined baking sheet and place in a preheated oven at
Allow the sugar to melt without browning and then remove form the oven. Be careful not to burn. Set the melted sugar aside to cool completely.
Once the sugar has cooled, break it into small pieces by hand or bash it with a mortar and pestle until fine.
Use the sugar glitter to decorate cupcakes, cakes and other sweets.
